Ash Hollywood, Shay Lynn Featured in New Horror Film 'Deadly Famous'

LOS ANGELES — Ash Hollywood and Shay Lynn are among the adult stars featured in “Deadly Famous,” a new mainstream horror film created by Indican Pictures and directed by Jim Lane and Eric Troop.

Indican Pictures has described “Deadly Famous,” which includes both mainstream and adult performers, as “’Entourage’ meets ‘American Psycho.’”

Hollywood is in the credits as herself, while Lynn plays the character Dawn Vaughn.

Daniel O'Meara, known for his work in “Ironclad” and “Here Lies,” has the lead role as serial killer Alan Miller.

Also appearing in “Deadly Famous” are Eric Roberts, Jackie Moore, Brett Miller, Anthony Powers, Juliette Beavan and Ria Huang.

Describing the plot, Indican Pictures said, “Alan Miller is a middle-aged acting coach and once successful child actor gone psycho. His deluded mind thinks because he was a famous child actor and is what he perceives as snubbed by present-day Hollywood, justifies him to be a stalker with a camera — which progresses to serial killer and cannibal.”

Troop said, “This is a story that needs to be told. It’s based on true events. There are people who come to Hollywood. It’s the dream. It’s what we all know, it’s what everybody dreams of, it’s like the fairytale in our culture — and it has a lot of power [that] lures people, and they come and do anything they can possibly do to get their dream.”

Co-director/producer Jim Lane said, “Basically, it's the story [of Alan]. He was a child actor, he's very full of himself, he was not getting good acting parts, everything is beneath him — also, he likes to kill women."

Troop, describing the serial killer’s victims in the film, said, “[These girls will] let themselves be taken advantage of by people that are treacherous. This is a story of a young innocent actress with big dreams who comes to Hollywood like lots of girls. She meets Alan, who used to be a child actor — he was a brilliant actor, but he's lost his marbles along the way. Nobody will work with him even though he's great. He's just too much of a psycho. He rents out a guest room to young actresses.”
